Spoke with the hotel receptionist who mentioned that there were two choices for breakfast in the hotel: Chinese cuisine in the formal dining room / restaurant (the “Fortuny”) – which would be an additional charge and wasn’t included in the room price – or breakfast in the bar restaurant (the “Red Bacaro”) which was complimentary.

Free food? ‘Nuff said!

Breakfast was a buffet-style continental breakfast. There were only one or two other people in the room and we had the pick of seats in the room.

Please forgive the quality of my pictures. I had forgotten to bring my camera down with me and had to use the lower quality camera on my phone.

I eat potatoes with ketchup.

Food on my plate: potatoes, sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, a little roll and some pickled stuff that I didn’t really like the taste of but C thoroughly enjoyed – she went back for seconds on that. XP

They also had these little jars of jam – apricot, peach and strawberry. So cute!

Another interesting thing was that mayonnaise and ketchup came in these long tube-like packages instead of the ones I normally see back home.

An apple pastry. Yum!
