Diocletian’s Palace is a fortress-like structure located near the coastline of Split, Croatia. It’s a must-see when visiting Split.

Outside the palace walls – looking left.

Outside the palace walls – looking right.

The entrance into the palace – that tiny little gap between the walls.

Close up of the sign hanging above the entrance.

The door that leads into… a dungeon?
Going through the entrance, inside the palace walls, it’s almost like being in a dungeon (not that I’ve actually been in any dungeons before, just what I imagine dungeons to be like.. haha). It’s pretty well-lit though, and there are even various stalls selling souvenirs and such.

Shops in the dungeon.

Following the crowd.

Are those steps leading out?

I see the light!
What’s at the end of the tunnel? Wait for the next post to see! ^^
